Personal Care Coordinators
and American
Cancer Society Partnership
The St. Agnes Cancer Center understands your unique needs as a newly diagnosed
cancer patient. If you have been diagnosed with breast, lung or gastrointestinal
cancer or lymphoma, we offer a Personal Care Coordinator as a free service.
Your coordinator will work closely with you and your family to help you
navigate your treatment. Once you begin your relationship with your Personal
Care Coordinator, you will always have a familiar face, a friendly voice
and a dedicated phone number to call.
In addition, St. Agnes is the first community hospital in Maryland to
host a full-time American Cancer Society staff member to serve as navigator
for cancer patients and their families. The ACS navigator provides a link
to resources available from the American Cancer Society, as well as serving
as a bridge to other resources you may need.
