Colorectal Cancer Center
The Colorectal Cancer Center serves patients with a diagnosed colon or rectal malignancy. The center takes a multidisciplinary approach to the treatment and management of colorectal tumors. Patients benefit from a range of experts in radiation oncology, gastroenterology, surgical and medical oncology. A key element to the Colorectal Center is a dedicated Oncology Nurse Navigator who serves as the patient navigator and advocate.
New patients are seen on Wednesday afternoons in the Cancer Center and their cases are reviewed at the tumor board, which follows the clinic hours. This allows for a multidisciplinary approach to the patients care.
