BMS at St. Agnes
The
St. Agnes Community Care Center, recently renamed BMS at St. Agnes
after a partnership with Baltimore Medical System, has always been
a cornerstone of the mission of the Daughters of Charity. BMS at
St. Agnes is an ambulatory care complex adjacent to St. Agnes Hospital.
On site services include an outpatient pharmacy, blood drawing station
and limited X-ray. The clinic also offers pharmacy assistance coordination
and patient education. BMS at St. Agnes sees approximately 25,000
patients per year and provides adult medical, specialty, pediatric and
OB/GYN services.
There is a sliding scale system to provide financial
assistance for patients in need. The program includes a financial
interview to assist patients with the application process. St. Agnes’ medical
residents provide care to patients and receive training in the Adult
Medicine clinic. In addition, three attending physicians staff the
adult medical clinic. Our specialty services include cardiology,
diabetes/endocrinology, hand surgery, infectious disease, nephrology,
neurology, orthopedics, podiatry, pulmonary, rheumatology, general
surgery and urology.
