Our Testimonials
Read some testimonials from the St. Agnes staff and residents about
the St. Agnes Residency Program.
At
St. Agnes Hospital, we have a unique opportunity to see a wide array of
diseases that challenges us daily. Training at St. Agnes will provide a
comprehensive foundation in Internal Medicine in any type of clinical setting.
We also have the opportunity to participate in various types of research
with our clinical faculty, who provide us with expert guidance.
One of the many highlights in our program is the diversity
among our residents and the very close collegial relationships between
residents and clinical faculty. This tight knit approach ultimately benefits
our patient. The St. Agnes Hospital Internal Medicine Residency Program
will be challenging but also a truly enjoyable three years in your career!

Chief Medical Resident 2005-2006
Saint
Agnes is a great place to work because we have a small program that really
feels like a family. Saint Agnes cares about all of its employees from
the janitor to the attending physicians and it shows. The people here are
very friendly and helpful and the resources are amazing. I like that we
have lots of community outreach programs and make a difference in the people
who live around us.
I also believe in the directives of the hospital that
no one should be left behind for lack of money or insurance. Another asset
to our program is our diversity. We have many different countries and cultures
represented in one small program. This helps us to deal with the many cultures
that we see in the real world. I believe that the Saint Agnes Internal
Medicine Residency program does an exceptional job preparing physicians
for both fellowship and private practice in general medicine. Come join
us!

Associate Chief Resident 2005-2006
I
have found St. Agnes to be a great community program with a friendly
work environment. Our program ensures
we have the knowledge and skills necessary to excel in patient care
while at the same time making sure we still have a life outside of the
hospital.

Resident 2005-2006
Like
most interns, I was terrified on my first day. Would I know how to treat
disease; how to prescribe medications; what to do in an emergency? Luckily,
the one thing I didn’t have to worry about was whether or not I had
picked the right hospital to do my preliminary year at.
The faculty is superb: easily approachable and ready
to teach. The residents I worked with were more than teachers and colleagues;
they became my friends. At Saint Agnes I was able to help treat a diverse
group of patients, and I graduated feeling confident and well-prepared.

Resident, 2004-2005
