Strong Foundation. Brilliant Future
Founded by the Daughters of Charity, Saint Agnes Hospital is the oldest Catholic hospital in Maryland. From their first day, the Daughters have been committed to supporting each and every patient that steps foot through the hospital doors. Donating over $20 Million to charity care last year alone, Saint Agnes is living proof of the commitment the founders made to this community. It is through the careful managment and diligent work of doctors, nurses, management and staff that allow for the support and care of all patients.
Your generous support of the Saint Agnes Hospital Foundation provides the opportunity for growth and expansion in a number of areas. Each of our six institutes are continuously evolving and growing with the help of generous benefactors. Staying true to the mission of the Hospital, each and every patient is provided with the highest quality of care regardless of financial capacity. Saint Agnes Hospital focuses not only one singular issue but the overall health of each person.

United Way Designation Number 3268
Over the years, the Saint Agnes Foundation has raised and provided millions of dollars in support to Saint Agnes Hospital. These resources have been used to initiate new health programs, capital improvements, supplement education for health care professionals, purchase leading-edge equipment and technology, and fund research in advancing areas of health care.
The Saint Agnes Annual Fund
We look to our friends in the community and our past patients to support us in this work through gifts to the Saint Agnes Fund. This annual fund helps to provide services to our patients and families in need. It may be as simple as assisting with therapy or contributing to new equipment for the NICU or Cancer Care Center. Every gift, large or small, helps to ease the pain of a patient in crisis or provide needed care. By doing so, you will also make a difference in future patients’ lives.
We will do all in our power to merit your continued confidence in Saint Agnes Hospital. Thank you for entrusting us with your care. For more information go to give.stagnes.org.
