An overview of our Neurology Department
The Neurology department at Saint Agnes Hospital offers a variety of services. Our department features our Stroke Center which has received numerous awards including the Gold Plus Recognition Award for excellence in stroke care. This award, given by the American Heart/ American Stroke Association at the International Stroke Conference, recognizes the innovative treatment, research, and education programs offered by the Primary Stroke Center at Saint Agnes. The department also includes the Sleep Center which provides a comfortable, home like environment and an experienced team to help diagnose sleep issues before they present larger concerns for a patient. The Neurology Department also offers acupuncture services to help patients who have suffered a stroke. This unique service has proven successful with helping stoke survivors dramatically in the recovery process.
