Strong Foundation, Brilliant Future.

Leaders in Hematological Services

Over the past few years the Cancer Institute at Saint Agnes Hospital has expanded its expertise in the management of benign and malignant blood disorders enabling our physicians to handle complex hematologic problems.

Hematology at the Cancer Institute

Saint Agnes Hospital is leading the way in Maryland in the treatment of blood disorders. At the Blood Disorder Center at Saint Agnes hospital we treat both benign and malignant blood disorders. Our Anti Coagulation Clinic offers outpatient services for these disorders. As well as clinical management of Coumadin (generic name Warfarin) without the invasive lab work and long wait for lab results traditionally associated with monitoring. Patients come in for a finger-stick test and results are immediate. Dosage adjustments are made onsite at the time of the test.
