Saint Agnes was the first hospital in Maryland to introduce tomotherapy, the primary tool in radiation therapy. This technology lets our physicians pinpoint and target cancerous tumors without harming any of the surrounding healthy tissue.

Support for your family
We understand that a cancer diagnosis can impact your spouse, children and other loved ones. Saint Agnes offers a variety of support groups for patients and their families, as well as a unique day camp to help your children understand and cope.

Leukemia, Lymphoma, Myeloma and MDS Support Group
Join us for a free support group for patients and families touched by blood cancer. The group offers support and education, with guest speakers presenting to the group throughout the year on various topics of interest to the blood cancer community.

Look Good…Feel Better
Look Good… Feel Better is a free program that teaches women how to cope with the appearance- related side effects of cancer treatment such as skin changes and hair loss. The sessions are held monthly and instructed by a trained volunteer cosmetologist. The program is sponsored by the Cancer Institute at Saint Agnes Hospital and the American Cancer Society. Registration is required.

Stepping Stones
Stepping Stones is a holistic, safe and welcoming group for all women living with breast cancer. This is a group to share feelings and experiences, obtain information, discuss ways of coping and give and receive encouragement, comfort and support..
Group is free of charge and no registration required. Group meets the 1st Thursday of each month, 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM in the Breast Center.

Sisters Network
Sisters Network Baltimore Chapter is an affiliate chapter of Sisters Network Inc., a national African American breast cancer survivor’s organization. The mission of Sisters Network, Inc. is to increase local and national attention to the devastating impact that breast cancer has in the African American community.
