The Marketing and Communications Team at Saint Agnes Hospital has been recognized with a number of recently-announced healthcare branding and advertising awards, demonstrating the hospital’s success in positioning itself as an important player in the competitive regional healthcare market.
Baltimore, MD –The Marketing and Communications Team at Saint Agnes Hospital has been recognized with a number of recently-announced healthcare branding and advertising awards, demonstrating the hospital’s success in positioning itself as an important player in the competitive regional healthcare market. Saint Agnes stole the show at the recent Alfred Knight Awards ceremony, held annually by the Maryland Society for Healthcare Strategy and Marketing Development (MSHMD) to recognize outstanding achievement in communications, marketing, public relations, strategic planning, and business development. Saint Agnes won the first place “Award of Excellence” for eight of the nine categories in which it had entered.
The hospital was recognized for Red Dress Sunday, in the category of Community Relations; 150th Anniversary Campaign, for Special Events; 360: Your Health from Every Angle commercials, in Electronic Advertising; 2012 Annual Report, for Annual Reports; 360: Your Health from Every Angle, in the External Newsletter category; Pulse, in the Internal Newsletter Category; 150 Years of Healing: A Pictorial History, in the Special Publications category; and 360: Your Health from Every Angle website, for Website/Blogs.
In addition, Saint Agnes was honored with the prestigious “Vicky Rosen Best of Show” award for the 150th Anniversary Campaign, which included Heritage Hallway, dedicated issues of all hospital publications, a customized website, the pictorial history book, and the Mass at the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, commonly known as the Baltimore Basilica.

She added that the Best of Show award for the 150th Campaign was an unexpected honor. “Our long history is special, and we really worked hard to celebrate our Sesquicentennial Anniversary with hospital associates, physicians, Daughters of Charity, our patients, and our community.
