2014 Class Success

We are extremely proud of our graduating class of 2014; our dear third year residents have exceeded our expectations and never cease to amaze us with their intelligence, dedication and most of all their immense hearts. About 60% of the class applied and interviewed for fellowship positions this year and 100% of them matched at very competitive training programs around the country! We are ecstatic about these results and we have full confidence they will be shining stars at their new institutions, just like they have been during their time here at Saint Agnes!
These are the fellowship programs our third years will be joining this year:

  • Dr. Ahmed Abdelaziz – Hem/Onc at Wayne State University, Michigan

  • Dr. Darwin Ashbaker – Pulmonary Critical Care at A & M Scott And White, Texas

  • Dr. Siddharth Dugar – Critical Care at the Cleveland Clinic, Ohio

Sameer Ahmed will stay for one more year with us as our Chief Resident and afterwards plans to apply for a fellowship in cardiology.

The rest of the our PGY3 class will be following a very rewarding, noble and much underserved path in medicine as follows:

  • Dr. Meetu Agrawal will be working as a local primary care doctor.
