Stroke Center

The American Heart/American Stroke Association has awarded Saint Agnes Hospital’s Certified Primary Stroke Center the Bronze Performance Achievement Award for consistently providing excellence in stroke care. Lipid Management Program

Reducing your blood cholesterol can lower your risk of heart disease and stroke. The Saint Agnes Hospital Lipid Management Program offers a complete cardiovascular risk evaluation. You'll work with a cardiologist, nurse educator, dietitian, and exercise specialist to improve your cholesterol levels, and reduce your risk of heart disease. I-ELCAP

Saint Agnes is the only hospital in central Maryland that participates in the International Early Lung Cancer Action Project (I-ELCAP). If you are 60 or older, healthy, and are a current or former smoker you may qualify for this study. For a $150 fee you will undergo a screening CT scan. To make an appointment, call 866-690-9355.
