Whether you are a beginning runner or seasoned athlete, you’ll find plenty of tips and training ideas to enhance your performance. There will be great presentations by physicians, trainers, and therapists. You will also have time to speak with the pros one-on-one to discuss everything from injury prevention and diet to stretching techniques and shoe selection. National Woman of the Year The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s local chapter presents annual award

The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, a voluntary health organization dedicated to funding blood cancer research, education and patient services, has named Carole Miller, M.D., the National Woman of the Year for her fund-raising efforts during the society’s 2008 Man & Woman of the Year Campaign.
